This is a little short I made in quarantine for Drexeldance film festival. The theme was ‘Safer at Home’, and I’ve been thinking a lot about my home country New Zealand, and how much it sucks to be so far away and cut off from my family overseas.
The Song is by the Kiwi band Split Enz and references the pioneer’s long and perilous journey to their new home country – which inspired me to make this little love letter to Aotearoa.
